Gamification

I learn how to work in Flash and how to create animations. It also teaches us about Game Design and how to look for things in games pertaining topic and graphics. Skills I have learned in Globaloria.

1) How to use Flash.

5) How to present a game.

I could use the skill of learning to type correctly, presenting ideas, and planning out projects ahead of time and then taking the time to follow through with them.Means adding extras that weren't there before like, awarding badges, adding a point system and even adding a highscore pageIs what the game hangs on. Is the skeleton of the game. Also encompasses all aspects of the original game idea.

March Of The Penguins

. Some challenges that the have to overcome are the very harsh winters and also the struggle for food and the struggle to keep there baby safe and warm .

2. It gets really cold for them sometimes and they have to stay warm for there babies .

3. They have thick coats of fur to keep them warm and another thing they do is they huddle together in a big circle and rotate to the middle every now and then so that each penguin gets at least some warmth.

4. Because there is a tilt in the earth that makes in pitch back sometimes .

In the game the character tries to escape prison, sort of a concentration camp to let the world or others know what actually happens inside the camp.

Gamers Scientific Problem Solving Blog

How did gamers use the computer game Foldit to solve the protein folding mystery? 

Somehow, the game allowed them to create a model of the AIDS virus.

Who can particpate in this problem solving and be a player in Foldit?

Anyone who can slove critical thinking skills.

What can critical thinking do for science?

It can allow scientists to see skills from people who can help them with the horrible problem of the STD AIDS.

If you could solve a mystery through gaming for any kind of disease or illness in the world, what would it be?

I would choose Cancer. I know that there are disease and illnesses like AIDS, Swine Flu, and all sorts of the horrible disease but if we can cure Cancer, then we can cure anything! I also got to know Cancer personally. My grandmother who was an angel, died because of the horrible Cancer. I don't want people to lose their loved ones, and people have lived for a good amount of time with AIDS and other horrible diseases, but not many people have Cancer live very long.
